FIELD: filtration.

SUBSTANCE: aquarium water filter contains case (2) in the form of a container of a canister type, opened from above, with sidewalls (5) and filtering cartridges located in it, as well as cap (3) attached to case (2) with a means for filling, provided in it, and connecting branch pipes (9', 10') of means in the form of water inlet (9) and water outlet (10). Means in the form of water inlet (9) and water outlet (10) are equipped with valves (9'', 10''). In cap (3), chamber (12) of a coarse filter with removable container (120) for the filtering cartridge is placed, wherein specified chamber (12) of the coarse filter is closed from above with cover (13) located in cap (3). Chamber (12) of the coarse filter is connected to the means in the form of water inlet (9) by means of inlet hole (121) formed in its rear wall, and it has outlet hole (122) for directing water to filtering cartridges provided in case (2). Cover (13) is pivotally attached with one end to cap (3), and with the other end – to case (2) by means of connection on latches regardless attachment of cap (3) to case (2).

EFFECT: invention provides access to separate filtration levels without dismounting of a filter cap or components contained in it.
