SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport and is intended for the installation of containers in gondola cars. The device for transporting containers in gondola cars is characterized by the fact that it includes two identical cradles placed opposite each other in the gondola car. Each of the cradles contains a base made of a steel sheet, the length of which does not exceed the internal width of the gondola car, the middle support rigidly fastened to the base in its middle part with the possibility of resting on the bottom elements of the gondola car and fixing on them, two extreme supports fastened to the base along its edges with the possibility of leaning on the elements of the bottom of the gondola car and fixing on them. Each extreme support is fastened to the base by means of two bolts, for the placement of which two longitudinal slots are made in the base, placed opposite each other and oriented along the length of the base, while in each extreme support two reciprocal longitudinal open slots are made, and the slots in the extreme supports and in base placed one above the other. Each lodgment has two identical support nodes for installing the container inside the gondola car, which are located above the extreme supports. Each support assembly includes a support platform rigidly fixed to the base, the overall dimensions of which exceed the overall dimensions of the container fitting assembly, as well as two flat-shaped guide supports rigidly fixed to the base vertically upwards and oriented perpendicular to each other with their flat sides so that one of their end faces surfaces, vertical, were placed perpendicular to the adjacent side surfaces of the gondola car, while the opposite end surfaces of the guide supports, facing the support platform, are made with two inclined surfaces, one of which is located at an angle of 35°±5° to the vertical end surface, and the other , adjacent to it, at an angle of 8°±2° to the vertical end surface. In the upper part of each guide support there is a gusset with the possibility of moving along the plane of the guide until one of its end surfaces rests on the inner side surface of the gondola car body when a lodgment is installed in it, and the other end surface of the gusset is made inclined with an angle of inclination corresponding to the angle of inclination of the end surface of the guide, between the guide supports on the base, a stand protruding upwards is rigidly fixed, fastened by welding with both guide supports by two pairs of crossbars, placed in height at a distance from one another.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of freight transportation in railway transport by improving the performance of gondola cars, which is solved by creating a device that provides the possibility of transporting containers in gondola cars, which is easily and without difficulty mounted and dismantled on a gondola car, does not cause difficulties when unloading loose and bulk cargo.
