FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polysaccharide chemistry. Options of a method for the production of Dalteparin sodium are proposed. In one of options, the method includes depolymerization of sodium heparin in a solution in the presence of 2.5-3.5 wt.% of sodium nitrate relatively to sodium heparin in the presence of acid, reduction of the resulting product, using ≤2.0 molar equivalents of a reducing agent to obtain raw Dalteparin sodium. Then, raw Dalteparin sodium is extracted, mixed in a mixture of solvents to obtain a precipitate of Dalteparin sodium. After that, the precipitate is dissolved in water and irradiated with ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 254 nm and power of 4-40 V for a period of time of 10 seconds – 8 minutes. The solution is lyophilized in the presence of alcohol to obtain Dalteparin sodium in the form of free-flowing powder.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtainment of Dalteparin sodium with low content of impurities.
