FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of polyethylenamine compounds selected from a group of polyethylenamines and hydroxyethylethylenamines, including stages, at which: at an attachment stage, adduct of CO2 with an initial compound including a fragment -NH-CH2-CH2-NH-, or a fragment -NH-CH2-CH2-OH or HO-CH2-CH2-OH is provided, at a reaction stage, a reaction of a hydroxy-functional compound selected from a group of ethanolamines and dihydroxyethane with an amino-functional compound is conducted, while at least part of the total amount of hydroxy-functional compounds and amino-functional compounds is provided in the form of adduct with CO2 to form adduct of CO2 with the polyethylenamine compound, at a removal stage, adduct CO2 with the polyethylenamine compound is converted into a corresponding resulting polyethylenamine compound, while a fraction containing a recirculated compound including the fragment -NH-CH2-CH2-NH-, or the fragment -NH-CH2-CH2-OH or HO-CH2-CH2-OH, or its adduct with CO2 is supplied at the end of the reaction stage or the removal stage to the attachment stage or the reaction stage, while the recirculated compound contains, per one molecule, in average smaller total amount of fragments -NH-CH2-CH2-NH- and fragments -NH-CH2-CH2-OH than the resulting polyethylenamine compound.

EFFECT: provision of a selective method for the production of polyethylenamine compounds in a way acceptable on an industrial scale.
