SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway transport, in particular, to devices for controlling the angular position of the wheel pairs of the jaw trolley in the railway track, depending on the direction of travel. Elastic shock absorbers are installed between the frame of the jaw trolley and the axle boxes of the wheel pairs. Shock absorbers provide the ability to rotate the wheel pairs relative to the bogie frame in a horizontal plane and have a high transverse rigidity. The bogie is equipped with a system for determining the front and rear wheelset in the direction of travel and an actuator for reducing the shock absorber stiffness. The determinant consists of a DC generator and a current polarity recorder. The actuating devices are placed in axlebox openings increased in width. Each device consists of a power mechanism. Mechanisms are attached to one of the side walls of the axle box opening and are made with the possibility of moving in the direction of the axle box assembly and away from it by a vertical movable plate. A vertical elastic shock absorber is installed on the plate. The same shock absorber is installed on the other wall of the axlebox assembly.

EFFECT: efficiency of controlling the angular position of the wheel pairs of the jaw trolley is increased.
