FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to a device and a method for assessment of a location and/or orientation of a personal care device held in the hand relatively to a user, and to a personal care system with the possibility of assessment of a location and/or orientation of a personal care device held in the hand. When implementing the method, using a processing device, results of the measurement of a location of a body part of user (202) are obtained, when the user uses personal care device (212) held in the hand on the specified body part. At the same time, at the stage of obtaining measurement results, a parameter of the body part is measured, characterizing orientation of the body part. Then, measurement results are used for assessment, by means of the processing device, of a location and/or orientation of the personal care device held in the hand relatively to the user during the use of the personal care device exclusively based on the set relation between a location and/or orientation of the personal care device held in the hand relatively to the user and a location of the body part of the user. The device for assessment of a location and/or orientation of the personal care device contains processing device (230). Personal care system (200) contains the personal care device held in the hand, location measurement device (220) intended for measurement of a location of the body part of the user, the device for assessment of a location and/or orientation of the personal care device held in the hand relatively to the user.
EFFECT: assessment of a location and/or orientation of a personal care device relatively to a user of this device is provided exclusively based on the set relation between a location and/or orientation of the personal care device held in the hand relatively to the user and a location of a body part of the user due to that a measured parameter characterized orientation of the body part affects functioning and/or orientation of the personal care device held in the hand.
