FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to endoscopic surgery, gastroenterology. The neoplasm of the major duodenal papilla is removed with an endoscopic loop. The pancreatic duct is stented. The post-resection mucosal defect is closed with 2-3 clips with the function of multiple opening and closing. In this case, the closure of the post-resection defect with hemostatic clips begins with bringing together the edges of the unchanged mucosa along the distal edge of the post-resection defect and extends in the proximal direction. The last clip is applied 2-2.5 mm distal to the orifices of the pancreatic and bile ducts.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the area of the defect, limit the impact of pancreatic and biliary secretions, improve conditions for defect healing and, consequently, reduce the risk of postoperative bleeding or perforation, and reduce the number of post-resection complications.
