FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the manufacture of flame-retardant coatings on cable lines. Flame-retardant paint contains an aqueous dispersion of a film-forming agent, flame retardants, functional additives, titanium dioxide, and water. The film-forming agent is an aqueous dispersion of vinyl versatate copolymer. Flame retardants include ammonia polyphosphate, pentaerythritol, melamine, and trichlorethylphosphate. Target additives include a foam suppressant, a thickener, biocide, and a spreading agent.
EFFECT: reduction in toxicity and increase in stability during storage of paint, as well as increase in flame-retardant efficiency, adhesion, water resistance, and elasticity of coating of the proposed paint.
