FIELD: building materials industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the building materials industry, namely to a method for the production of Portland cement clinker. The method includes supplying raw sludge to the cold end of the rotary kiln and supplying a dry raw mix. In this case, the dry raw mixture with a saturation factor of 0.7-2.1 is fed per calcined substance in the amount of 5-90% of the total mass of the two streams into the lower cone-shaped part of the dusty chamber. From where, together with the trapped dust, it enters the chain curtain in the area between the beginning of the sludge reaching the critical moisture content and the end of the chain curtain. In this case, the saturation coefficient of the raw sludge is 0.70-1.8.
EFFECT: reduction of specific fuel consumption for roasting Portland cement clinker with a wet production method due to a decrease in the amount of evaporated moisture.
