FIELD: building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the building materials industry, and in particular to a method for the production of Portland cement clinker. The method for the production of Portland cement clinker includes the supply of raw sludge to the cold end of the rotary kiln and the supply of a dry raw mixture, while the dry raw mixture with a saturation coefficient of 0.7-2.1 is fed based on the calcined substance in the amount of 5-90% of the total mass of two flows into the dust feed hopper, from where, together with the trapped dust, it enters the chain curtain into the area between the beginning of the sludge reaching critical moisture and the end of the chain curtain. In this case, the saturation coefficient of the raw sludge is 0.70-1.8.
EFFECT: reducing the specific fuel consumption for burning Portland cement clinker with a wet production method by reducing the amount of evaporated moisture.
