SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cam for cold processing of a tubular element. The cam is designed to rotate in a circle around the mentioned tubular element. The cam contains a cam body having an axis of rotation, a first cam surface and a second cam surface. The first cam surface passes around the mentioned cam body. The said first cam surface contains the first region with an increasing radius and the first continuity violation of the said first cam surface. The second cam surface passes around the said cam body and is located at a distance along the said axis of rotation from the said first cam surface.

EFFECT: present invention enables to simplify the cam design.
