FIELD: vehicle cleaning devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle cleaning devices. The device for cleaning gondola cars contains a frame, a traverse, cylindrical brushes mounted for movement. The frame is made in the form of a welded metal structure containing channels that serve as guides with the ability to move the vertical towing beam, racks and counterweights. The device contains buffers with rubber plates located in the front and rear parts of the frame and allowing to soften blows to the ends of the gondola car in extreme positions, a centering system that allows, when lowering the device, to center it relative to the axis of the gondola car, which is equipped with rollers that allow the device to move along the gondola car along its longitudinal walls as guides. The system of counterweights consists of two symmetrical prefabricated chain hoists 2:1, made with the possibility of adjusting the pressing force of the horizontal brush. Cylindrical brushes, installed vertically and horizontally, provide cleaning of the sides and floor of the gondola car, as well as trough brushes provide cleaning of the corners during the longitudinal movement. Each vertical brush is equipped with a hydraulic motor, and the horizontal brush is equipped with two kinematically connected hydraulic motors and a hydraulic system.

EFFECT: expanding the arsenal of technical means for cleaning gondola cars from the remnants of bulk cargo by increasing the speed and quality of cleaning.
