SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to plastic and maxillofacial surgery and to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used in treatment of persistent oedema after rhinoplasty. For this purpose, a procedure including infiltration of the oedematous cavity located between the lateral and/or septal cartilages and the superficial musculo-aponeurotic system of the nose with a 0.5% solution of betamethasone dipropionate and Longidase, diluted with a 0.9% sodium chloride solution at a ratio of 1:1:1, is performed at least once. The injections are made subcutaneously by an infiltrative technique using a needle or a blunt-ended cannula. Then, from the side of the nasal mucosa, the rhinoplasty region is heated with a short-pulse neodymium laser, the active medium whereof constitutes a neodymium-alloyed aluminium-yttrium garnet with a wavelength of 1,064 nm, a pulse frequency of 650 mcs, an energy density of 15 to 20 J/cm², a frequency of 1.5 Hz, with a laser spot diameter of 5 mm.

EFFECT: possibility of relieving oedema after a rhinoplasty operation and preventing the development of possible fibrotic changes in the nasal tissues, thereby preventing future surgical interventions.
