SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to otolaryngology, and can be used for the prevention of cicatricial deformities of the external nose in patients with open trauma of the nose body frame. 7–10 days after the initial surgical treatment of wounds and the elimination of post-traumatic deformities of the bone and cartilage skeleton of the external nose the treatment is started. During the first week, twice a day, skin is exposed to wounds with low-intensity laser radiation. Laser exposure is carried out by a labile contact method in the infrared range of the wavelength of 890 nm, in a pulsed mode with the pulse power of 7 W, and the frequency of 80 Hz. Sensor is moved over the specified area with stops up to 15 s every 1.5–2 cm. Total exposure time is 2 minutes. Five minutes after the laser exposure, the Contractubex gel is applied to the irradiated zone. During the second week, low-intensity laser radiation is not used, and the Contractubex gel is applied to the skin wound area twice a day. During the third week, the method used in the first week is repeated, and during the fourth week the method used in the second week is repeated.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the frequency of formation of cicatricial deformities in the area of the external nose due to the combined effect of the Contractubex gel and laser exposure.
