FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire prevention and fire containment and can be used to prevent a fire on a ground vehicle in emergency situations. The device for preventing ignition of fuel in the fuel tank of a ground vehicle has an exhaust gas discharge system, a shell, an exhaust gas and coolant circulation system. The shell installed around the tank on supports made of light non-combustible material glued around the perimeter of the tank is made of flexible fire-resistant material, contains a detachable zipper type lock along the perimeter in the front part, is equipped with an automatic gas-hydraulic exhaust gas and coolant circulation system, contains an electromagnetic valve in the form of a two-position spool valve with electromagnetic control and signal lamp, flame extinguisher, particulate filter. The system shut-off valve, gas pressure regulator, gas-liquid type cooler with pump and liquid tank, pipelines are connected to the inner volume of the shell, secured with double-sided nuts with washers, sealed with fuel and gas resistant sealant. Fastening of the component elements of the device to each other is carried out with fitting nuts, and to the vehicle frame, with clamps, bolts with nuts and washers.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of fire protection solutions.
