FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, and can be used to select a surgical operation for drug-induced osteonecrosis of the jaws (DIOJ) depending on the volume of osteodestruction. According to the dental examination data and the results of MSCT, the stage of DIOJ is determined depending on the location of the defect, its extent, depth of spread, and the appropriate treatment tactics for this stage.
EFFECT: method ensures complete dissociation of the surgical wound from the oral cavity, increases the efficiency of treatment due to the reasonable choice of an adequate surgical operation for DIOJ, depending on the volume of osteodestruction.
