FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of transport engineering. The structure of the rear part of the electric vehicle contains rear rail guides, each of which contains rear and front sections, and a transition zone. The rear section extends in the longitudinal direction and is attached at its rear end to the rear bumper. The front section extends in the longitudinal direction lower than the rear section and is attached to the transverse reinforcing structure of the vehicle. The transition zone contains an upper bend and a lower bend connecting the rear and front sections. The transition zone is made of a material having a strain at failure of at least 0.6 and a critical bending angle of at least 75°. The method for manufacturing said rear part structure includes the following steps: providing a workpiece, stamping the workpiece in the form of a rear rail, attaching the rear rail to the rear bumper, attaching the rear rail to the transverse reinforcing structure.
EFFECT: improved impact energy absorption is achieved.
