FIELD: production of gases.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a gas generator set and to the use thereof. Described is a gas generator set for producing hydrogen-containing synthesis gas with a gas-generating reactor of a height exceeding the width of the generator, wherein the gas generator reactor comprises: a. a gas inlet branch pipe for intake of superheated water vapour; b. an upper gas outlet branch pipe for releasing the mixture of gas with water vapour; c. a lower gas outlet branch pipe for releasing synthesis gas; an inlet gateway is provided along the longitudinal axis of the gas generator reactor at the upper end of the gas generator reactor for intake of solid raw materials, with a gas-impermeable seal of the gas generator reactor; an outlet gateway for discharge of the residual solid material, with a gas-impermeable seal of the gas generator reactor, on the lower end of the gas generator reactor opposite to the upper end thereof, wherein the gas inlet branch pipe is closer to the lower end than the lower gas outlet branch pipe, and the upper gas outlet branch pipe is closer to the upper end than the lower gas outlet branch pipe, and the distance between the upper gas outlet branch pipe and the lower gas outlet branch pipe is greater than the distance between the lower gas outlet branch pipe and the gas inlet branch pipe; a heating element is provided for intake and heating of the mixture of gas with water vapor from the gas generator reactor and/or water vapour from the vapour generator, wherein the heating element is in fluid communication with the gas inlet branch pipe for the supply of a mixture of gas with water vapour and/or heated water vapour, and/or is in fluid communication with the upper gas outlet branch pipe via a gas suction pump, wherein the heating element is configured to heat the water vapour by microwaves. Described is a method for gas generation for producing synthesis gas using the above gas generator set.
EFFECT: reduced material consumption with lower energy consumption.
