The method includes the use of an energy-metabolic composition containing an activator of energy metabolism succinic acid, an energy drink polyhydric alcohol propylene glycol or glycerin, an activator of protein metabolism, a cicatricial digestion and hematopoiesis stimulator, vitamin B group - cyanocobalamin in the following ratio of components: 15 g of succinic acid, 150 g of propylene glycol or glycerin, 0.5-1 g of cyanocobalamin when diluted in drinking water up to 500 ml. The composition is forcibly fed to cows, starting from the 9th-10th day after calving, with a frequency of 1 time in two days (on the 1st-3rd-5th-7th day), 500 ml each.

EFFECT: use of the invention will make it possible to activate energy metabolism and metabolism in cows.
