METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF PROBABILITY OF SPONDYLARTHRITIS IN PATIENTS WITH UVEITIS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B3/13 G01N33/554 C07K14/74 

FIELD: medicine; rheumatology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely rheumatology; it can be used for determination of the probability of spondylarthritis in patients with uveitis. A complex of indicators is determined: male sex (X1): 1 - yes, 0 - no, the onset of uveitis at the age of no more than 30 years (X2): 1 - yes, 0 - no, the presence of a histocompatibility HLA-B27 antigen (X3): 1 - yes, 0 - no, inflammation in the anterior segment of the eye (X4): 1 - yes, 0 - no, unilateral lesion (X5): 1 - yes, 0 - no. Based on obtained data, the probability of spondylarthritis (hereinafter – SpA) is determined by the formula 1.964 × X1 + 1.471 × X2 + 1.404 × X3 + 1.328 × X4 + 0.711 × X5. If the obtained sum exceeds a value of 4.502, the probability of SpA is estimated as high; with the sum equal to or less than 4.502, the probability of SpA in a patient with uveitis is considered low.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of timely diagnostics of SpA, which allows for adequate monitoring of a patient and prescription of the correct treatment, due to determination of the probability of detection of SpA in patients with different forms of uveitis based on an assessment of clinical parameters of uveitis and the presence of a histocompatibility HLA-B27 antigen according to a specially developed formula, where each sign is assigned with a prognostic coefficient.
