FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, in particular to a structure of a frame of a universal gondola car body. The universal gondola car body includes side (1), end (2) walls, and frame (3), which consists of a ridge beam connected to end, pivot, and intermediate crossbeams, as well as fastening longitudinal beams. The ridge beam is made welded, and it has a U-shaped cross-section alternating in height with a gradual decrease from a central part to console parts. The pivot beam is also made with a cross-section alternating in height with a decrease at a place of location of support sliders and with an increase in a central part and at end parts. Each fastening longitudinal beam is made welded of an I-beam section, while an upper shelf is displaced relatively to a wall in a direction to the ridge beam, and it has a width greater than a width of a lower shelf. The upper shelf of the fastening longitudinal beam is rigidly connected to an upper sheet of the ridge beam.

EFFECT: invention increases strength characteristics of a body, increases a service life, as well as provides manufacturability in the assembly of a structure, which will allow for provision of the reliability and durability and reduction in costs for repairment of a car.
