FIELD: pyrotechnic igniter compositions.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrotechnic igniter compositions and can be used to start power plants operating on liquid hydrocarbon fuels. The pyrotechnic igniter composition for the device for launching power plants contains aluminum-magnesium alloy powder, polytetrafluoroethylene and an oxygen-containing oxidizer. It contains potassium nitrate as an oxygen-containing oxidizing agent, and nitrofilm as a binder. The composition contains components in the following ratio, wt.%: aluminum-magnesium alloy powder 45-65, polytetrafluoroethylene 15-25, potassium nitrate 15-25, nitro film 5.
EFFECT: reliable and efficient launch of power plants operating on liquid hydrocarbon fuel.
