FIELD: laser optics and acousto-optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser optics and acousto-optics. The method for generating two-color ring laser fields consists in the fact that the radio signal generator generates two radio frequencies f1 and f2, which are simultaneously fed to the acoustic input of an anisotropic acousto-optical filter of spatial frequencies of laser radiation, to the optical input of which a focused beam of two-color laser radiation is supplied with spectral components on λ1 and λ2. At the filter output, the beams of the zero and first orders of diffraction are separated and the optical Fourier transform of the beam of the first order of diffraction is performed. The radio frequency f1 is such that for a laser beam at λ1 phase matching of the acousto-optic interaction is performed on a conical surface with an opening angle θ1, the radio frequency f2 is such that for a laser beam at λ2phase matching is performed on a conical surface with an opening angle θ2, under the condition θ1<θ2. The mutual orientation of the wavefronts of the two-color laser beam and the wavefronts of acoustic waves in the filter is chosen so that the two-dimensional transfer function of the filter has the form of a ring for each of the two-color laser beam.
EFFECT: increase in speed, expansion of functionality.
