FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser engineering and relates to device for adaptive time profiling of ultrashort laser pulses. Device includes a laser driving oscillator, a stretcher, which provides for chirping of a laser pulse, acousto-optic dispersion line based on a crystal with an anisotropic type of acousto-optic interaction and performing laser pulse shaping by diffraction of chirped laser pulses with arbitrary amplitude and phase modulation of their optical spectra during time of non-stationary acoustooptical interaction, device for detecting the shape of laser pulses, comprising a striking camera and a digital camera, a synchronization system, a function generator of arbitrary shape, which adaptively generates ultrasonic diffraction grating with amplitude and phase modulation in LFM crystal so as to provide required time profile of diffracted laser pulse, and high-frequency amplifier of signals.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling adaptive temporal shaping of laser pulses with ultrahigh resolution and adaptive variation of time profile and pulse delay.
