SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTABLE LINEAR ACCELERATORS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC H05H7/02 H05H9/02 H03K3/27 H03K5/01 H03K19/01

Abstract RU 2785815 C1

FIELD: engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adjustable linear accelerators, initiating signal distribution systems, and frequency control systems for adjustable linear accelerators. The initiating signal distribution system for an adjustable linear accelerator comprises the following components: a first logic control circuit, configured to receive a first initiating signal and generate a second initiating signal in response to the first initiating signal, wherein the second initiating signal has an adjustable delay of the second initiating signal relative to the first initiating signal; a second logic control circuit configured to receive the second initiating signal and generate a third initiating signal in response to the second initiating signal, wherein the third initiating signal has an adjustable delay of the third initiating signal relative to the second initiating signal; a third logic control circuit configured to receive the second initiating signal and generate a fourth initiating signal in response to the second initiating signal, wherein the fourth initiating signal has an adjustable delay of the fourth initiating signal relative to the second initiating signal; a particle power source containing the second logic control circuit and configured to generate a particle power signal in response to the third initiating signal; and a radio frequency (RF) power source containing the third logic control circuit and configured to generate an RF power signal in response to the fourth initiating signal.

EFFECT: expanded range of adjustment of the parameters of a linear accelerator.
