SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of shock absorbers. A motor vehicle contains a computing device with an electronic interface for communication with an onboard network. The device contains memory with a computer program and a processor. A method for control of shock absorbers of a vehicle, when passing artificial road roughness, contains following stages. The difference in real-time measurements of wheel speeds is continuously calculated. An upward slope is detected after passage of at least one threshold by the specified measurement difference. Electric current of control of a front shock absorber is set for the first maximum current value, when detecting the upward slope of road roughness to obtain an increased damping coefficient on front wheels. Electric current of control of the front shock absorber is set for the second current value less than the specified first value as soon as, after detection of the upward slope, the vehicle passes the first distance corresponding to a length of the upward slope to obtain a smaller damping coefficient on front wheels.
EFFECT: possibility of reaction in a satisfactory way to separate roughness.
