FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely experimental surgery and pharmacology. In the mesentery behind the common bile duct, a window is made through which a latex tourniquet is passed. Then an additional skin incision is made 1 cm to the right of the laparotomy wound, both ends of the latex tourniquet are removed under the skin through separate punctures of the muscles of the anterior abdominal wall in the area of the counterpuncture incision. After that, the tourniquet is stretched and 3 knots are formed, squeezing the common bile duct between the tourniquet and the anterior abdominal wall. The laparotomy and counterpuncture wounds are sutured. On the 5th day, access to the latex node is carried out by dissecting the skin above it, the node is crossed, decompression of the common bile duct is performed.
EFFECT: method provides modeling of reversible mechanical jaundice in white laboratory rats for the subsequent study of the hepatoprotective activity of new drugs, is easy to implement, does not require repeated laparotomy, which reduces the number of complications from the abdominal organs and postoperative wounds.
