SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosolised composition for inhalation by the user of an aerosol providing apparatus, a method for generation thereof, an electronic aerosol providing system, and a method for improving the delivery of a flavouring substance into the aerosolised composition. The aerosolised composition for inhalation by the user of an aerosol providing apparatus contains a vapour phase and a liquid phase of water droplets, wherein the aerosolised composition contains: (i) water in an amount of at least 50 wt.% relative to the weight of the aerosolised composition, (ii) one or multiple flavouring substances, (iii) nicotine, and (iv) an encapsulating material, wherein at least 50 wt.% of said one or multiple flavouring substances is present in the vapour phase. The group of inventions is developed in the dependent claims.

EFFECT: creation of a composition with improved organoleptic properties, reduction of the amount or removal of components forming toxic substances.
