SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of structural elements of mobile devices, namely, to a mechanism for positioning a video camera relative to a mobile terminal, located inside the body. To realise the technical result, the positioning mechanism comprises a printed circuit board, a bracket, a first magnet, and a Hall sensor; the video camera of the mobile terminal is installed on the bracket and can be extended forward or retracted into the inner space formed by the body. The Hall sensor comprises a first work surface and a second work surface, extended accordingly in different directions; said Hall sensor perceives the magnetic field of the first magnet via the first work surface and the second work surface and generates induction signals, and the induction signals are used to determine the extended and the retracted position of the video camera. In accordance with the claim, the Hall sensor perceives the magnetic field of the first magnet in order to generate two induction signals, so as to increase the accuracy of determining the spatial state of the video camera.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of positioning a video camera apparatus of a mobile terminal, namely, positioning a telescopic mechanism and determining the state thereof in order to ensure better conditions and quality of video recording and protect the video camera apparatus.
