FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to methods of forming a herbage - a lawn used for sports purposes. The method includes grass cutting, watering, sanding, combing and removing debris, aeration, repair of field damage, weed and disease control as necessary, moisture control and timely watering of the lawn, application of complex fertilizers, overseeding of perennial grasses. A spring complex of works is carried out, including aeration, core collection and sealing of the formed voids. Aeration is carried out at t=15-28°C in wet herbage in sunny weather by vertically piercing it with hollow tubes to a depth of 10-15 cm in the amount of 400-500 holes per square meter. After collecting the cores, the resulting voids are sealed with a mixture of river sand and natural zeolite with the size of their fractions of 0.6-1.2 mm at a ratio of 1:0.2 and a temperature not higher than 28°C. Spring oversowing is carried out with a mixture of perennial grasses, consisting of Vesuvius perennial ryegrass, Lifrance perennial ryegrass, Limousine meadow grass, Lincolnshire meadow grass, Jevelyn red hairy fescue, Livista red fescue, respectively, at a ratio of 1:1:1:1:0.5:0.5 and watering by sprinkling with a norm of 5-7 l/m2. The load on the lawn is excluded for 10-12 days. Lawn mowing is carried out once every 5-7 days with cutting off 1/3 of the grass surface, the next mowing is carried out across the previous one. The last cutting is carried out when the average daily temperature is 4-5°C. Lawn repair is carried out by pouring soil mixture on damaged areas, consisting of river sand with a fraction size of 0.6-1.2 mm, peat and hydrogel at an appropriate ratio of 1:10:100 with a layer of no more than 5 mm. A mixture of perennial grasses used for spring overseeding is evenly distributed over the soil mixture, foliar top dressing is carried out with a complex mineral water-soluble fertilizer Fertika lawn repair NPK 18:18:18+MgO+MICRO by dissolving 10-20 g/l of water. Sprinkler irrigation is carried out in the amount of 5-7 l/m2. The introduction of complex fertilizer over the entire area of the lawn is carried out in the form of foliar top dressing with granulated lawn fertilizer Fertika NPK 11.3:12:26+MICRO at the rate of 50-70 g/m2. Irrigation of the lawn is carried out with a decrease in field moisture capacity below 70-80%, the general seeding rate of perennial grasses is 300 g/m2.
EFFECT: method provides high decorative characteristics of lawn grass and its functional application, reducing weediness.
