FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to determination of electrical contact properties. In a method for determination of electrical contact resistances, in a contact area between the first contact element of the first plug device and the response second contact element of the second plug device, current circuit resistances are assessed. The current circuit contains the first contact element, the contact area, and only the second contact element of the second plug device. Inductive voltage is induced in the current circuit, so that measurements conducted in the specified current circuit allow for conclusion about contact resistances of interest.
EFFECT: speed of determination of problems is increased.
