FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a dispersion of polymer particles. A dispersion of particles of at least one polymer for use in cosmetic compositions is claimed, where polymer is stabilized along a surface with a stabilizer, in a non-aqueous medium containing at least one non-polar oil based on hydrocarbons, where polymer contains from 70-80 wt.% of ethyl(meth)acrylate and 20-30 wt.% of (meth)acrylic acid per the total weight of polymer, the stabilizer is selected from isobornil(meth)acrylate homopolymer and statistical copolymers of isobornil(meth)acrylate and ethyl(meth)acrylate present in the weight ratio of isobornil(meth)acrylate/ethyl(meth)acrylate of more than 4, where a combination of stabilizer+polymer contains from 15-25 wt.% of polymerized isobornil(meth)acrylate, 50-70 wt.% of polymerized ethyl(meth)acrylate, and 15-25 wt.% of polymerized (meth)acrylic acid per the total weight of the combination. A composition for cosmetic treatment of the body, a cosmetic method for the treatment of the body for elimination of sweating in a person, a method for non-therapeutic cosmetic treatment of keratin-containing materials, and a device for application of aerosol are also disclosed.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides for stable polymer dispersion.
