FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to circular wood saws. Circular saw for longitudinal sawing of wood includes a blade with a toothed rim and a central hole, an annular regrinding zone divided into adjacent evenly alternating sections without violating the integrity of the saw blade in accordance with the number of teeth. Each adjacent section, coinciding with the saw tooth, is made hardened with increased hardness, is located longitudinally and symmetrically to the axis passing along the front face of the sharpening angle and the top of the tooth, and is limited by circles determined by the diameters of the saw and the regrinding zone. The width of the section does not exceed 0.6 saw tooth pitch.
EFFECT: invention increases the durability and wear resistance of circular saws for longitudinal sawing of wood.
