In the projection of the Achilles tendon from the side of the medial malleolus, the sheaths of the tendon sheath are opened. Through the center of the tendon for at least 3 cm, two longitudinal incisions are made perpendicular to each other, obtaining four "columns". Alternately cut off the "columns" from above and below so that two "columns" through one were cut off from above, and the other two from below. While maintaining the contact of the tendon fibers along the lateral surfaces, the "columns" are displaced relative to each other until the required elongation is achieved.

EFFECT: method provides improved functional results of treatment, increases the accuracy of achieving the required lengthening value due to uniform displacement of the tendon parts relative to each other.
