FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, in particular to active phased antenna arrays, and is used for radio communication and navigation systems in the ranges of medium, long and extra long waves. The effect is achieved by the fact that the APAA consists of N≥2 spatially separated single-channel transmitting modules, forming the APAA, each of which contains a series-connected block of intermodular communications, a radio transmitter of the module, a high-frequency switch for two positions "work" and "measurement" and an emitter, with In this case, the inter-module inputs/outputs of each block of inter-module communications are connected to at least two other blocks of inter-module communications of single-channel transmitting modules, and one input/output of the block of inter-module communications of one of the single-channel transmitting modules, taken as the master, is the input of the APAA, while the master and other single-channel transmitting modules, other inputs/outputs of the block of inter-module communications are connected to the radio transmitter of the module.
EFFECT: increasing the energy efficiency of APAA and providing azimuth control sufficient to provide communication in the MW-, LW- and ULW-bands.
