FIELD: electric digital data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a computer mouse intended for entering data into a computer and controlling the cursor on a computer display. Computer mouse comprises a body with a lower base intended to be placed on the work surface; elements installed in the body: a computer mouse movement sensor, an electric magnet located on the side of the lower base, a recognition sensor recording the presence of the operator's hand on the surface of the body, and a main controller linked with the electromagnet and the recognition sensor and configured to set the magnetic field characteristics of the electric magnet depending on the signal from the recognition sensor; wherein a window for the electric magnet is formed in the lower base, an elastically deformable element used to secure the electric magnet in the body so as to be able to move in the base window when subjected to magnetic attraction force and return to the initial position when said force is no longer applied is located inside the body.
EFFECT: ease of moving the mouse on the work surface during operation while maintaining the stability of the position thereof on the work surface when the mouse is released by the operator.
