FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information input devices. For this “mouse” pointing device includes nonstainable housing (prismatic with dust- and/or dirt-resistant coating and with self-cleaning intensifiers: vibrators, blowers, washers) of reduced sizes, which fit under human hand without contact with skin, upper video camera, two propulsors, turning mechanism and sensors of support surface presence/absence, which enable "mouse" to move independently, contact-free and safe after human user hand, front and side video cameras, tracking user's fingers movement and allowing him to interact with "mouse", and chipset controlling "mouse" operation, including capable of its "parking" and perform scanning of documents, and containing microcontroller incorporating controller and from two to five optical transducers (sensors) in one chip.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of dimensions, simplifying design of nonstainable buttons-free pointing device “mouse”, as well as higher hygienic safety and safety of its operation.
