SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport. The system for dry cleaning of railway cars includes a section (1) for vibrating cleaning of cars, installed in series along the railway bed, made in the form of a portal equipped with a vibrating machine, a section (2) for closing hatches, made in the form of a portal equipped with movable hatch lifts, dust cleaning point (3) compressed air, equipped with a compressor unit with successively installed receivers connected to racks on which hoses with nozzles are fixed with the possibility of directing the air flow to the undercarriage of the car. The method for dry cleaning of railway cars is characterized by the fact that a car with open hatches is fed to the section (1) of vibration cleaning, with the help of a control panel, a vibrator is installed on the upper trim of the car, giving it vibrations, the vibrator is removed and the car with open hatches is fed to section (2) closing hatches. Carry out the capture and lifting of the hatch with hook rods. The locks are closed manually, the car is fed to the blowing point (3) and the underbody of the car is blown with an air flow from the nozzles.

EFFECT: invention improves the operating convenience of the cleaning system by automating the process, simplifies its control, ensures consistent, continuous and high-quality processing of several cars at once, and reduces the cleaning time.
