FIELD: railway transport; adapting railway cars for different gauges. SUBSTANCE: device has base with parallel sections of narrow and wide gauge tracks, main track of adapted gauge (between sections of narrow and wide gauge tracks) and two tram car tracks: one between main track and narrow gauge track and the other, between main track and wide gauge track. It has two lifting-and-transportation machines, each on base of freight tram car on platform of which U-shaped frames and track rails are placed between frames in cross direction, two hinged frames at both sides of platform hinge-connected with platform frame, and stand with electric hoists installed for displacement along hinged frames and platform track gauge. EFFECT: reduced time for train servicing, dispensing with manual labour. 4 dwg
