SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for hardening and restoration of working surfaces of machine parts. Installation for electromechanical processing contains a power step-down transformer with equipment for regulation and control located on the lathe support, roller tools, the current supply to which is made directly from the secondary winding transformer. The power step-down transformer with equipment for regulation and control are in a casing the base of which is fixed on a movable carriage connected to the adapter by two guides which are located on the sides of the carriage with the possibility of its horizontal movement perpendicular to the workpiece. Each guide is equipped with a spring of equal rigidity. The adapter is rigidly fixed on the machine caliper. Working tools are connected directly to the secondary winding terminals of the power step-down transformer.

EFFECT: reduction of losses of electrical energy and increase of electromechanical processing efficiency.
