FIELD: shoe technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of shoe technology, in particular to footwear for sports and recreation, and relates to the soles of running shoes. A running shoe sole with a soft elastic midsole is proposed (1). The midsole 1 includes a lower part (2) at least partially in contact with the ground (B) during running, and contains a plurality of channels (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 4a, 4b, 4c) oriented in the transverse direction (Q). Channels (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 4a, 4b, 4c) are located in the lateral region of the midsole (1) in at least the first and second horizontal planes, while the first and second horizontal planes are vertically offset relative to each other, and each channel (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 4a, 4b, 4c) is limited in the longitudinal direction (L) by a front wall and a rear wall. In addition, the channels (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e, 4a, 4b, 4c) are capable of deforming vertically and/or horizontally in the longitudinal direction (L) until they close under the action of forces arising during running and acting in vertical (V) and/or longitudinal direction.
EFFECT: aim of the present invention is to improve running shoes, realize a light weight sole with improved cushioning effect, provide multi-level cushioning from the heel region through the midfoot region to the forefoot region, while the cushioning effect is not segmented.
