FASTENING DEVICE FOR MUSICAL INSTRUMENT STRINGS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G10D1/08

Abstract RU 2786755 C1

FIELD: musical instruments.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for fastening the strings of musical instruments, such as guitars. The device consists of a bar of a special shape, which replaces the usual bottom ring, with through holes in it, through which tension nuts can move, on which the ends of the strings are attached. Nuts can be moved back and forth by means of screws screwed into them. The dimensions and shape of the holes are selected in such a way that the screw can only perform rotational movement, being constantly in a state when its head is pressed against the narrowing of the hole on the outer surface of the tool body, and the nut can only perform translational movement along the screw axis.

EFFECT: present invention will simplify the device for fastening the strings of a musical instrument by replacing the pegs with hardware, nuts and screws; improve the weight balance of the tool; reduce the dimensions of the tool.
