OPEN METHOD FOR SUTURING A PERFORATED ULCER OF THE ANTERIOR WALL OF THE STOMACH WITH THE FORMATION OF A DUPLICATION FOLD Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B17/00

Abstract RU 2786810 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to abdominal surgery, gastroenterology. The stomach with a perforated ulcer is removed into the laparotomic wound. A fold-duplicate is formed manually in the region of the anterior wall of the stomach. Two serous-muscular line sutures are formed, respectively, above and below the perforation site. Two interrupted sutures are formed by tying in pairs the free ends of the threads at the corresponding ends of the lower sutures so that the part of the stomach that is proximal to the ulcer covers the ulcerative perforation. Between the previously formed two interrupted sutures, three more interrupted sutures are applied equidistantly, hemming the outer edge of the duplication fold with them to the anterior wall of the stomach.

EFFECT: method provides improved results of treatment of patients with perforated gastric ulcers, in which the perforated opening of the ulcer is located on the anterior wall of the stomach, mainly in the prepyloric or pyloric part of the organ; reducing the risk of insolvency and the number of postoperative complications, reducing the risk of stenosis of the gastric outlet in the postoperative period, provides rapid postoperative rehabilitation of patients, provides the possibility of suturing an ulcer with inflamed and necrotically altered defect edges.
