FIELD: chemical processing of polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of chemical processing of polymer waste into liquid products. The method consists in crushing polymer waste, melting it, mixing it with an organic solvent in a mass ratio of 1:9-4:1, hydroconversion with hydrogen-containing gas in the presence of a suspension of a dispersed catalyst and separation of hydroconversion products to obtain various fractions. A mixture of high and low pressure polyethylene and polypropylene is used as polymer waste. The residues of atmospheric or vacuum distillation of oil or the residue of atmospheric-vacuum distillation of hydrogenate produced in the slurry process are usde organic solvents. The solvent also contains a suspension of nanoscale MoS2 particles with a size of 50-650 nm. The hydroconversion is performed at 400-445°C and a pressure of 3-10 MPa for 1-3 hours. The catalyst concentration in the reaction zone in terms of molybdenum is 0.05-0.2% by weight. The consumption of hydrogen-containing gas is 500 nm3 per 1 ton of polymer waste mixture.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve the hydroconversion parameters, such as the process time and the proportion of polymer materials being processed, while reducing the required pressure to 3-10 MPa, as well as reducing the required amount of catalyst, in addition, it leads to an increase in the profitability of the method, reducing energy consumption and costs associated with the use of special equipment.
