SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to means of plant growth control. Plant growth regulator liquid concentrate contains dissolved prohexadione in ionic liquid, wherein the ionic liquid contains an organic base and a strong acid, where the organic base is an amine, imine, amide, imide or urea and where the strong acid has a pKa lower than 4 and is capable of forming an ionic liquid with an organic base. Also, the liquid concentrate of the plant growth regulator contains one or more plant growth regulators dissolved in the ionic liquid, wherein the ionic liquid contains an organic base and a strong acid, wherein said organic base is an amide, imide or urea, and the molar ratio of acid to base ranges from 1:2 to 1:10, and where the strong acid has a pKa lower than 4 and is capable of forming an ionic liquid with an organic base. Plant growth regulator is one or more of the following regulators: gibberellin, gibberellin derivative, S-ABA, chlormequat, ethephon, triazoles with growth regulating action, such as metconazole and tebuconazole, auxin and/or at least one cytokinin, wherein preferably, the composition additionally contains at least one fungicide selected from specific fungicides against powdery mildew, fungicides SBI, fungicides QoI and fungicides SDHI. Concentrate is used to prepare sprayed liquid for plants spraying.

EFFECT: disclosed liquid concentrate of plant growth regulator is easily mixed with aqueous liquids for foliar treatment of plants, is stable during storage, does not crystallize.
