Filtration of the reference sample is performed using 4-diverter interpolation filter to obtain a predicted sample value, wherein filtration coefficients of 4-diverter interpolation filter are determined in the following way: c₀=16 - , c₁=16 + c0, c₂=c0 + p, c₃= , wherein a division operation is performed with rounding downwards. At the same time, p is a fractional part of the subpixel displacement value, and c₀, c₁, c₂, and c₃ are filtration coefficients.
