FIELD: objects seismic protection.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to devices and methods for seismic protection of objects. The method provides for the creation of elastic-damping connections between the protected object and the base by means of a set of shock-absorbing devices that limit the amount of loads transferred to the object. The structure of the devices includes elastomeric box-shaped shock absorbers. It also provides for compensating the weight load from the side of the object under normal operating conditions by installing unloading supports - in a shock absorber or independently - in the form of a telescopic structure that is destroyed/folded when a predetermined load threshold on the shock-absorbing device is exceeded during seismic action. To compensate for lateral displacements of the object relative to the base under the influence of spatial external loads, including at ultra-high levels of impact both on compression and in transverse forms, an axial rod is installed in the shock-absorbing device, which interacts with an elastomeric membrane - a limiter of its horizontal movement. Options of the design of the shock-absorbing device are also declared: with an integrated design of the elements - a support and an axial rod - as a single structure - a telescopic rod-support, and with independent supports and an additional horizontal installation of shock absorbers.
EFFECT: seismic protection of objects from spatial multidirectional influences during long periods of operation is provided.
