SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding. The bow end of the ship's hull is characterized by the use of compressed air supplied from the compressor, with the supply of compressed air to the outer part of the outer skin of the ship's hull in its underwater part. The area of the bow end of the hull is equipped with air ducts on the inside, and valves are installed on the outer side of the ship's hull plating above the air ducts. The number of valves is calculated taking into account the required amount of air to be supplied from the duct, the air pressure in the duct, the capacity of the valve. The opening of the valves for communication with the air duct is set to a predetermined pressure drop from the outer side of the outer shell of the ship's hull.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce damage to the bow end of the ship's hull and extend the life of the ship before repair.
