FIELD: metal working.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of materials and can be used in manufacturing hard-alloy tools. Method includes the stages of heating a hard-alloy workpiece to a temperature of 900 to 1,000°C and plastic straining of the working surfaces thereof in a heated state by rollers with a load of 2,000 to 9,000 N. The rollers are subjected to the vibratory effect with a frequency of 5,000 to 7,000 bpm with an impact energy from 3 to 7 J, using, in particular, an impact machine. The tool is then sharpened.
EFFECT: increase in the durability of the hard-alloy tools.
