FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises striker, wave guide, and deforming tool mounted for permitting applying the static load to it perpendicular to the surface to be worked and periodic pulse loading by means of the striker and wave guide. The striker and wave guide are made of rods of the same diameter. The deforming tool is mounted with a spaced relation at the free end of the wave guide by means of flat springs. The springs are positioned at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the wave guide. When loading, the flat springs move the deforming tool in the direction of its axial feeding.
EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities.
